How the heck is that still attached? 893whatthe.gif

 

Looks like there is a piece that already flaked off.

For me, Marvel chipping is on par with Trimming in terms of defects. Although one is a "natural defect" and the other is "unnatural" the results are almost identical.

Trimming usually looks better.

FF 9 is a book famous for bad chipping. frown.gif

 

I was so happy to pick up my 8.5 without any chipping. Paid a pretty penny though. blush.gif

 

I got a raw fine without chipping but lots of white is showing on the spine miswrap.

If it's not one thing it's another. 893blahblah.gif
