Submission to CGC at Wonder-con

Can someone tell me what the advantage is to bring your books to CGC for submission when they are at Wonder-con or any convention, other than saving on the shipping charges? They don't offer grading on site at this SFconvention. Are there any disadvantages? Thanks, forumites

You won't get the 20% discount you'd get subing through a member dealer. You will get free shipping to CGC.

So you would be confident that the CGC folks won't damage or lose the books in their suitcases on the way back to Florida?

Yes I submit my books in a mylite with a board or a bag and board then in a mylar.

Yeah you will, as long as you do like MK said and you print off the online form from a Member-Dealer.

Yep, I did the same thing this weekend when I subbed some books at wondercon.

I dropped off a few books with the CGC guys at Wonder-Con. It more than paid for my admission. Picked up a great Silver Surfer 6 and Iron Man 13, 17 which made my day!
