Sorry the scan is so small--I'm working on being able to post bigger ones. This book is CGC'd at F+ 6.5.

I got it from one of Gerber's big auctions in the mid '80s. I'm pretty sure it was $75. (It was a looong time ago!)

Terrific books Punyhuman! Maybe it's just me but I think it would be helpful for people on dial-up connections if you could try reducing the size of your images. At about 3 MB each, they still haven't loaded after 15 minutes. crazy.gif On the previous page I reduced your Black Terror #8 and posted it for you (maybe you didn't see that). I'd like to see more of what you have but giant scans tend to kill threads (for me anyway).

I don't know what kind of software you are using to scan and save but maybe try scanning at 150 dpi and save it at 50% or something. Just play around with it to find different results. Thanks! laugh.gif

I think in the case of some publishers (Nedor springs to mind) the covers were by far the best part. But many companies had some excellent interior work as well.

I really like a lot of the work done in MLJ titles such as Pep and Hangman. There's some fabulous art by Bob Fuje and Harry Lucey (and others). If you haven't visited Shield's MLJ website, you should--lots of excellent stuff to download/peruse.

And the early Archie stories behind those WWII Pep covers... cloud9.gif
