What's the biggest GA sale on ebay?

I'm curious if anyone knows what the biggest dollar amount for a succesful GA book on ebay is? Is there a limit to what people will fork out on ebay, compared to a place like Heritage? Just curious.

I think I recall a Tec #27 for close to $80,000 a few years ago. I might be mistaken on the amount. I don't recall if it was a scam or not. I was a lurker on the boards at the time and I recall a thread about it.

I don't know if either of these count because technically they didn't end up selling on eBay..

 

But Neatstuff listed an Action 1 on eBay a few years ago that ended up selling to someone offline for over $100k.

 

The 'Tec 27 was probably mine. (a restored CGC 9.2 that missed the reserve on eBay, but sold to someone who saw the auction and called me about it a few weeks later.

 

Both of these books were restored though. I'm not sure if there was an unrestored book that sold on eBay for more at some point.
