Pedigree Mystery for Sherlocks out there

6 posts in this topic

The latest vault dig uncovered some books that had stickers on them I hadn't made much note of before. I have no further info so if they look familiar to any sleuths out there, please let me know, and I will see if there are more in the stacks.

Ftrinstance, this said it was the "Ohio Copy"

And this had a sticker which read "Cosmic Aeroplane"

Look on the interior. If it's the CA copy it should have some light pencil check marks or other notes next to certain panels. The original owner was an art teacher who used the books as reference material.

Yup, that's the Dirty Harry copy...(very good)

If I've EVER seen a Golden Age book that I'd seriously consider throwing away in the trash, it would be this book (and it's a Centaur to boot, oh the horror).

Top left of the Startling looks like it has a check mark, usually associated with CA copies.
