No. You're thinking of "Giant Size Amazing UFO Rockers" from Marvel circa 1976. Art by Don Heck and Frank Robbins. Rumored to be so awful it sent people in convulsions and caused at least one death. There are tons of Magician strips across GA titles as you know but I'm surprised you don't know about El Carim ( Miracle ) especially since it ran for quite a while and since IIRC George Tuska pencilled it for a bit.
