The above art is a recreation by Acerno by the way. It is even more impressive up close and highly affordable for those with limited funds and OCD.

I'm not very familiar with Acerno's work, but I'm impressed with what you posted.

He's very good.

I guess I can understand where Bangzoom is coming from. I've lucked into a collection of 60's DC's all 9.4-9.6's that I bought for lower prices (like $30 each). I see no reason to sell them, they are beautiful and I'm in for a low price of 10% of their value, so might as well keep them, like Bangzoom does! His are just worth a lot more, but the thinking is the same. There is no pressure to sell if you are in for a low price.

I have some Bob Fuje 1980 Flash dailies that I bought off him personally when he attended SDCC some years back - that's as close as I've come (they're still pretty cool).

I like Bob Fuje's artwork. :applause:

I would like to see those dailies again. Fuje's Hangman was something special and he did great work for Hillman, Harvey and Continental as well.

Here are two recreations that Bob did for me....On the Pep he asked me "if he could change it a bit, because he could draw better now....." Could he??!!!

Very nice line work on the art. Note his signature. Steady as a rock

I would like to see those [Flash Gordon] dailies again.

Not sure if you are thinking of these BB - I purchased them directly from Fujitani at a convention back in 2005 (autographed on the back).

BB, I thought of you when I saw this Sunday page.

My comic book page is small compared to that one. The whole family enjoyed Geppi's Entertainment museum although my grandson thought the Superman statue was kind of scary.

I liked the cowboy stuff

and the comics.

All these folks visiting Baltimore, could let me know ... I live in town :sumo:

I thought you lived in the Midwest. hm

However, I did think of you when I went to the Railroad Museum and saw this boxcar used in WWI which was presented to the state of Maryland by the French National Railroad.
