Shultz Peanuts, Paul Smith X-Men Art, and Joe Mad X-Men Cover Art- Taking Offers

8 posts in this topic

Hi All,

First of all, I just created a gallery that contains 3 phenomenal pieces of art that I’m accepting offers on:

http://cafurl.com?i=3804

They are:

1) A Charles Schulz Peanuts strip from 1958 that features Charlie Brown Lucy and Snoopy.

2) The cover art to Astonishing X-Men #3, by Joe Madureira and Tim Townsend.

3) A beautiful Paul Smith and Bob Wiacek page from Uncanny X-Men #172, that features Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Kitty Pride, Lockheed, and Mariko.

I’m taking offers on these pieces. Sorry, NO TRADE. I'm only looking for outright sales. I can take credit card payments via PayPal, and I will also accept multiple payments. If you're interested in anything here, please drop me an email at mightynib@mac.com

I also added a couple of nice pieces from Phil Noto and Chris Sprouse to my regular “Art For Sale” gallery:

http://cafurl.com?i=87

Until the end of the month, I’ll be having the following sale in this gallery:

Buy 1 piece get 10% OFF

Buy 2 pieces get 15% OFF

Buy 3 pieces get 20% OFF

Buy 4 pieces get 25% OFF!

THESE DISCOUNTS DO NOT APPLY TO THE “FOR SALE- ACCEPTING OFFERS” GALLERY.

Thanks for Looking,

Randy

Anyone have any educated guesses on the value of the UXM #172 page? confused-smiley-013.gif That's one of my all-time favorite issues, though I suspect pricing for these pages has gotten a bit silly. 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

Not to hijack this thing, but 5k wouldn't be that unusual or surprising. Really depends on whether RGL is feeling it this week or not.

It's a very memorable page from an issue I remember fondly, but I think $5k would be both unusual and surprising. Although I hope Randy get's a super premium for it.

Last Fall Heritage had a page with the entire team in costume that did not hit $5k.

I think you might need a couple characters in costume doing something pretty nice to get there 893scratchchin-thumb.gif .....or at least someone to fight with Gary over it... 27_laughing.gif
