Charlotte NC conventions

Has anyone been to the convetions in charlotte NC? Im thinking of going to one this year and wanted an idea of how they were. Any help would be appreciated.

Heroes Con is a great convention. Great guest list, none of the hassles of the huge multi-media events. It's a popular show, but not so busy that it's hard to walk around the aisles. Also very well run and organized.

i signed up for the hero con newsletter and it seems pretty nice. Im probably gonna save some money and go to it. I live on the coast on NC so it wont be a long drive.

Yep, been to Heroe's and also the quarterly Charlotte Mini-Cons.

Heroe's is a top notch show. Lots of stuff, very comic-centric, and well ran.

Ive gone the last 2-3 years and have had a blast each time.

Where is J-Ville exactly? North of Wilmington, but how far north?

Im in Lenoir, which is between Hickory and Boone. About 1 1/4 hour NW of Charlotte

its on the coast about 40 minutes from wilmington. Home of camp lejeune.

(No im not a marine). Charlotte is about a 4 hour drive for me i believe. I can get to greensboro in about 3.

Thats where I thought it was. What are the HS that are there? I think we have wrestled some people from that area in the state tourny.
