WTB: Stan Sakai art and perhaps some TMNT art

7 posts in this topic

Hey guys, this is my first post in the OA area. Hoping someone can help me out.

Looking for a Stan Sakai piece, could be a page, could be a sketch, would really just like to get ahold of something he has done. As far as TMNT, I know its extremely hard to find OA, but would like a piece done by Eastman and Laird.

Any help appreciated!!!

I have a very nice piece. It is large and penciled and inked It is unpublished but it would be very expensive. Most of stan's work isn't cheap unless it is a quick sketch that is endorsed.

expensive as in $500 and up, $1,000 and up???? Or even more?

I bet Sakai's stuff isn't as expensive as Eastman & Laird's art. Especially since the TMNT movie has hit the big screen.

It's funny to see so many "Eastman & Laird" TMNT sketches appearing on ebay ever since #1 story sold for $250K. heh!

I glad I got mine. smile.gif

Stan does not sell published interior art. He'll sell covers, TPB paintings, insets,

and pinups at convention appearances (especially San Diego). Pinups range from

$100 - $200. Covers $400 - $800. Paintings $800+

For creator-owned independent comic art, the prices are low / reasonable.
