This looks real nice, except for the small rip on the BC. It is less then 1/4", but I am not sure how to incorporate that into the grade. The FC looks VF+ to me.

book has a bottom right corner crease, back cover staining and what looks to be a tear on the back from the upper staple...general dullness. but that could be the low res scan...

 

 

I'd can see a 6.0 which is a far cry from 8.5 but that's just me....

I agree, if that is a LLC crease, and is that rust migration on back cover from lower staple? The crease seems to and dullness seems to put at F 6.0. But I'm newer and trying to learn the ropes. Also looks like some staining on front cover URC and U center around 2nd ALL

I think it's better than a straight Fine 6.0. Maybe a 7.0 tops though.
