Little known Edgar Church fact

Even though Edgar Church passed away in 1978, he apparently was still actively purchasing art books for his use in 1987 as evidenced by this eBay auction.

Well it does come with verification from Mile High Comics as to provenance.

I think that guy with the beard is Edgar Church. So, with that in mind the auction is OK with me. He looks good for a "dead" man.

the guy with the beard on the book is Bob Ross. He is also dead.

I would have said maybe it's been confused with the Mile High II collection but Chuck bought that in 1985. And of course since Church died in the 1970s, it still wouldn't explain the seller's BS.

I'm interested to hear their reply. Intergalactic has been around a very long time here in Central Florida, and have a pretty good reputation.

Hey Mike.. I am pretty sure this was just a listing error but it is amusing. They do however have another auction for a 1986 Bob Ross item with the same "owned by Edgar Church" description.

If they have a good rep maybe they were fed some B.S. by someone that had some fake certificates or something. I used to watch Bob Ross all the time. I wonder if "the ghost of edgar Church" that Chuck's always going on about, was watching with me....
