OK...What did you win on Heritage?

What makes this so fun, is that it seems that a lot of people got books that they felt were bargains.

 

Plus, its actually nice to see that we collect different books and different grades.

 

There were actually many high-grade Golden-Age books that sold for Below guide price and while I'm not sure many of the Bronze books sold for Below guide price, the consensus on this board is that they sold for below normal market prices.

 

Dan and Brian:

 

Good for you guys buying Marvel "Cream to Off-White" books. I just couldn't pull the trigger on them (even though I did win some Atlas and Pre-Hero Marvel with CR/OW pages).

 

While I do believe there is a slight negative to that page quality, now that I think of it I would rather have a 1) fresh, bright cover with CR/OW pages than a 2) dirty, yellowed cover with White pages.

I bid on about 10 books and managed to win 3 of them.

 

I got an Avengers #122 CGC 9.4 (this was the 1st issue of Avengers I ever bought of the stands back in 1974)

 

Fantastic Four #121 CGC 9.6

 

and Supergirl #1 CGC 9.4 Got it for $70 and that includes the BP. smile.gif

I bid on about 25 Marvels last time and only won 4.

 

This time i bid on about 30 and won over 20.!!!!!

 

 

Looks like i'll be working the weekends for the rest of the year!

 

 

 

What did you win? That's a lot of books. Congratulations (I guess).
