1957 ROY ROGERS AND TRIGGER #117 with rare 15¢ cover..As early as 1957 Dell experimented with raising the price of theri comics from 10 cents to 15 cents. The tried it out in a few markets but soon abondoned the idea. Only a relitively few of these 15 cent comics were printed and sold. Fine condition.

 

1960 THE RIFLEMAN #2 comic CHUCK CONNORS Tufts art NICE . Interesting second issue of The Rifleman from Jan- Mar 1960. Originally scheduled to be Dell 4 color # 1072, it became # 2 when it became clear that the show was a hit and that there would be a series of Rifleman Comics. Dell blacked out the NO, 1072 on the cover but you can still read it if you look closely. Cover photo of Chuck Conners and teen heartthrob Johnny Crawford..
