The humor in Marvel's Captain Marvel

I like it, but it's kinda getting old. The stories are starting to read the same. Any comments?

I dropped it after the last story ended (#12?). It was good, but it wasn't going anywhere. Peter David is a one trick pony IMO and after a couple of years on the book his trick has been done.

My thoughts exactly concerning David's writing. He starts off great and then tails off after a year or two. Regarding Capt Marvel, you stayed longer than I. I quit after #8.....
