I've never met Ian to talk to (I'm very shy ) but have observed him bartering and bantering with comic dealers and he comes across as a nice guy actually.

 

I'm secretly quite proud of him - any field needs true mavericks - and you have to admit his posts have been very entertaining.

 

And he invented Simon Cowell's personality! True!

Actually, I think Ian would be a very fun guy to talk comics with. I think he comes across poorly on the board, but I'd love to see his collection, and give him grief about my Supergear.
