CGC grading question

I have a copy of Journey into Mystery #83 that looks like this:

 

 

There is currently a CGC 7.0 copy of JIM #83 on eBay that looks like this:

 

 

Notice anything strange about the right side of the second book? Like the fact that "Comic Code" seal and the issue number seal are partly missing?

 

How in the $@#% is this not a trimmed book? How in the $#@% did this not get a worse grade?

 

Am I seeing things?

looks like a nice 7.0 to me

Just the way the book was cut at the press. Look at the left side where the 12 cent circle is. Yours is closer to the edge. Very comon thing.

The space between the 12-cent circle on your book and its spine looks about equal to the space missing on the right side of the CGC book. The cover's just shifted.
