Off the beaten Path

I recently read a trade-style book by a guy named Jeff Parker. Has anyone read "The Interman"? What a great read!! The art is good, but the story was amazing. A friend of mine lent me his copy and I couldn't put it down. It's 128-page with no ads. The story is about a guy who was genetically bred to be a super soldier/spy for the cold war. The guy adapts to any environment (in one scene he grows gills, in another his skins turns blue from being buried in snow). It's rumored that this book will be turned into a movie.

 

Anyone else read something from a small press that is interesting?
