Thanks for the link...I just read "Hansi" online and must say I have not been this amused in a long time!

 

BTW, eBay seller "fett98" seems to have stumbled onto a large stash of these books in prisine condition...he keeps selling one "Mint...Unread" copy after another (check his feedback). The buyers seem to be happy, so I guess the grading is not far off the mark.

Oh, I just hate to do this. But apparently there are are 3, yes 3, price variants of the Hansi issue, as well as variants on some of the other Spire books. I think I recently saw an ebay listing with all 3 versions, and I have heard of the others, including Archie issues.

 

By the way, if anyone has ever heard the story of how Archie comics got involved with these guys, I'd love to hear it.

OS has it that there were two separate printings. One in 1973 at 39 cents and one in 1976 at 49 cents. What's the third price?

59 cents, according to fett98's listing. I've only seen the 39 centers, though.
