Been wanting a good Atlas (pre-code Marvel) Horror cover for a long, long time.

 

I think this fits the bill nicely.

 

Surprisingly, this was offered to me by a collector friend over here in the UK.

I'm always amazed that this stuff has survived so nicely throughout the years. I can't imagine there are very many Heath horror covers still out there, it's just not a medium I think of him for.

That's the thing, how many unbelievable pieces like this are buried in collections and haven't seen the light of day in years, if not decades.
