Are All of Our English Boardies OK?

It's not been so bad in London (the worst has been in the West and the Midlands), and if your house isn't on a flood plain, there won't, or at least shouldn't, be a problem. Hard to believe that after this the government still wants to build houses in high risk areas (which are currently under 3 feet of water).

It is definitely serious in certain areas (such as counties on or near the Severn and Avon rivers, and the Thames Valley). No drinking water, and whole towns cut off from help. And it isn't over yet....

 

Last July England was experiencing constant 36 C weather - the papers blamed the heat on global warming. They're blaming these floods on the same thing...

Same here, last Summer was like living in an oven, and most people over here don't have AC...

This year it's been raining for weeks now, the really vertical kind of rain (which we hardly ever get). A bit scary considering I live below sea-level :o
