Time to raise the bar.

As I write this the 5000 point plateau has been reached. I know that is not a large number in respect to the 858 ahead of me on the register. However, for me it was a 2 year journey, 144 books, and who knows how much money (that a father of 11 doesn't have much of). It has been fun and seeing the kids gain a small interest in comics and reading in general makes it well worth it.

May the next 5000 points come a little faster, if not it is still fun. My goal is to try to finish a few sets -- Ghost Rider is my book of choice -- and further my crazy goal of having a place that can house one of each comic ever produced. To preserve the fine institution of comic books and collecting. A place for future generations can go to look at these pieces of art before the digital age slowly eats away at the printed book.

Thanks for looking at my first post. I know my goal is lofty but if we don't have to reach for our goals we will get complacent.
