I was raised in Huntington Park Cal. It was a wild place to grow-up, but what a blast! Comics and Toys have always been a big staple in my child-hood..hence the word( hood) that's what H.P was, but it was my home, and I do miss it! Maybe it has something to do with growing-up in 80's.

Living in Los Angeles as a kid there were lots of independent stores. One I do remember fondly was toyville..that place was great! Nothing like a Toys "R" Us, just a simple little shop owned by a sweet couple. There was also a comic shop down the street as well. Reminiscing over the past with my bros. about toyville brings a smile to my face every time.

But I remember Robotech..that show was just amazing to me as a kid. I remember wanting the Scott Bernard gakken cyclone so bad. I would walk by this toy store almost every day Figuring out a way to get it...Well I got it!

I cherished it for a lot of years. Its still my all-time favorite.
