Wizard World Chicago gave me a big surprise....
I submitted my 1st Black Cat..swearing to my friends this book needed to be pressed for maybe a 9.2, based on the fact that it had a light crease on the back cover. I would head over to submit the book for pressing. They couldn't guarantee the grade I wanted, but told me they should be able to get the crease out. But the lady at the booth could not guarantee that the book would even be done in time for on-site.
I would end up skipping the pressing and submit the book for on-sight. The book would end up receiving a 9.4..I was thrilled!! flipping the case over to check the back, and by my surprise...no crease! Apparently the casing of the book pulled the light crease out! But yeah, I'm thrilled!!
