Hey honey...got a question.

Last week I made a few purchases from another boardie (Sardo Numspar's) for an amazing haul of New Mutant goodness. I was able to pick-up two or I would even consider it three of my key grail books for what started out for my pre-X-Force collection with NM 87, 98, and 100 with 93 thrown in for that completionist value. Anyways after a Sunday night purchase my precious grails were shipped and arrived on Friday at our local post office where Saturday my wife, being pestered by her child like husband, was asked to claim these beauties so that I could finally allow my home to bask in their glory.

End of story right... No likely, besides this is merely a recap of an old Journal so far. So not even 30 min's after seeing these glorious photos and asking my wife to put them up somewhere away from my child like Hulk rampaging around my home do I see another board posting. "Remember the Alamo" Alamo City Comic Con now accepting submissions for Rob Liefeld... Wait Rob Liefeld is going to be coming to Texas. I live in Texas... Holy it must be fate. So while on Facetime with my wife I ask the weirdest of all conversatins.

Me: Umm, hey babe, uhhh how much do you love me?

Wife: What do you want Kaholo?

Me: Umm, so yeah, the Alamo City Comic C....

Wife: No, you don't even need to ask, the answer is no.

Me: New Shoes???

Wife: Fine what do you want me to do?

Me: Go to San Antonio to the Comic Con there and get a guy named..

Wife: Stop, you had me going when you said San Antonio but then you add Comic Con don't you have comic buddies for this sorta thing?

Me: Umm, I guess, would you be willing to mail it out to them?

Wife: Does it still involve shoes?

Me: Uhhhh, sure.

Wife: Then yes I'll mail it to someone.

Me: Do you care that those are worth money maybe someday for our kids?

Wife: The shoes?

Me: No the comics...

Wife: No

So now not even having the grails in my house for more than a weekend those four have been repackaged and are now on there way to another amazing gentleman for some Liefeld love and to hopefully retain their grade when they get to CGC immediately after. I guess I can always hope they go up after seeing the 10 sell not too long ago on Comiclink.
