took a shot at joining the xmen 94 club today...

sometimes you have to feel good about the purchases you don't maketook a shot at an xmen 94 today but really spent the time to go over the book and keep a count of how many defects i could see and noted the bigger ones (slightly blunted corner vs a corner crease with color break). the book presented decently (despite a miswrap that i could live with at the right price).price quoted put the book in the 8-8.5 range and i just couldnt do it... easily 6-8 defects on FC and BC alone... one corner blunted with color break.Disappointing as I was looking forward to picking up a 94.live to fight another day as they say. i guess the wife can have sushi tonight after all...To see old comments for this Journal entry, click here.
