I recently saw a copy of this issue on feebay and wanted it!  Shipping cost more than the book, so I always check to see if the sellers have more goodies to add to the shipment in order to balance out that high expense.  Nope.

I think about this book often...

No, like all the Jane comics, it's a collection of comic strips originally published in the UK. Contents are black and white. For background on the source material see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jane_(comic_strip)

John Burns did some Jane stories in the 80's or later.  I find his work charming.  Have any idea how long these issues ran?  I can't imagine the UK newspapers issued Jane in a comicbook format.
