top right corner my favorite of the group

A Moira Bertram cover middle of the bottom row. She started work in comics aged 14 - and never got one jot better as an artist. They always look 'almost' OK, but with features you wouldn't expect to see in a pro's work.

From memory, the notifications don't work regardless of what you do, Yoz. I've found comments on my journals long after they were made and it makes you feel bad as it looks like you've ignored them. It's one of the reasons I gave up on the journals / galleries, once it became clear that CGC wouldn't be diverting any resources to fixing them. 

I did get a notification that @Get Marwood & I had posted here, since I follow him.  So to that extent they work.

I follow you, but I don't receive notifications when you post (or anyone else that I follow)... 

I have to go view your profile page and then select "recent activity".

I get notifications whenever people I follow post, which is part of the reason I keep the list very short.  There must be a setting for it somewhere.

I've just updated my "notification settings".  Hopefully it won't be too overwhelming.
