  1. Most noticeable flaw is a crease in the front bottom right corner. Yes, the tattooz are still in the book, or at least they were until I used them. I really see why those drive up the price of this book. These are some sweet looking tattooz! !
  2. No, those are not light reflections. They are small, but definitely there. I'd rather people(at least as far as a board like this is concerned) be harder rather than easier on a book when guessing about the grade.
  3. I think that is just light reflecting off the book on the crease. I pulled it out and looked at it and there isn't a color break on it. Maybe I need to get my eyes checked though lol.
  4. There is a slight crease on the front bottom right corner which I think could easily be pressed out.
  5. I think that may just be the angle of of the photo. After seeing your post I took another look at the book and I didn't see any part of it split near the top staple.
  6. Looks to be in good shape, though not perfect, for the most part.
  7. It's got a few dings on it but overall it's in pretty good shape.
  8. It's in pretty good shape for the most part. Main defect I can see is the tick on the upper back spine, but that looks like it might be able to be pressed out as it does not appear to break the color. Also a little bit of wear on the spine along the back bottom of the book. .
  9. My uncle somehow managed to avoid buying any keys or books of any real value. It was quite remarkable really. For instance he has many ASM in sequence leading up 100, but stopped at 99 and picked up again at 103 and managed to stop buying ASM altogether before he hit the 120's 😂
  10. I was at my uncle's house this week and was looking through some of the books that he bought while growing up. He bought many of them from a second hand book store to save money and some of them came with a big "USED" stamped on the back in red or black ink. How badly would that lower the value of his books? Perhaps not that much on his as his aren't in that great of shape even without the stamp. I have photos of one of them for an example. Most of his books were in similar if not worse condition as the one in the photos.
  11. Is that based mainly on the fading? I know it has other defects, just curious if you were basing most "deductions" on the fading.
  12. I really had not been able to find anything definitive about how fading affects the grade. It's easy to find out about nearly anything else regarding defects that both affect and don't affect the grade.
  13. That was my thinking as well. I just got it off of eBay but made sure to buy it from a seller that accepts returns. I could tell in the listing that it was a little washed out but the photos made it look much better than it actually was.
  14. It's a little faded on the front but the spine is in good shape with no creases or tears
  15. Yeah I wasn't too sure how much good a C & P would be for this book.
