  1. That looks like conveniently placed ink chipping. Likely to grade lower on surface and definitely not spit.
  2. I'm sure PWCC would love to consider legal options. Unfortunately for them, I'd guess that eBay has plenty of documented IP addresses and proof that bids are coming in from different accounts from a shared location.
  3. Agree with you. Love the look of their slabs, I own some . I've sent some personal cards as well, I'm in no rush to get anything back.
  4. It's been on the price guide for a while. I believe it's for extra thick cards (higher than 20pt.). Think relics/memorabilia.
  5. Best case it delays it, worst case you get the wrong card labeled on the holder. Prizms are tough to identify for those that don't see them often. Try a site like this to get examples of the different varieties. https://blog.comc.com/2020/12/15/best-of-2020-prizm-parallel-guide/
  6. That looks like it's part of the photograph, that shouldn't affect a surface grade.
  7. No info about POP other than it's coming hopefully later this year. CGC already has a pop report for comics, so I'm sure they're capable of launching in a timely manner given that they only recently opened to sports cards. Personally, if you're not looking for a quick flip, I would list it in line with PSA values and it's perfectly reasonable to use the low PSA pop as a selling point (in relative terms, cards should share similarly low pops across graders).
  8. Interesting. I've bought quite a few CSG and see them selling all the time, so I don't believe eBay is removing it for the sole reason of the company. I think your idea that listing 'PSA' in the title may be partially to blame. I wonder if you're using screenshots of the images, rather than your own pictures of the cards? Maybe they have an automatic algorithm that looks for an image match online to see if it's been used in an auction before?
  9. Is it a standard card, just slightly thicker stock? If it's not a relic/memorabilia or a card clearly thicker than 3mm, just submit it as a standard card. If they need to charge for the thick holder they'll contact you to adjust payment.
  10. Thanks for the info. Lets see those 10s!
  11. I use USPS insurance because I've had good luck with their claims process in the past, but any carrier should have insurance available on their express packages to cover the cost of your card. If it's a true high dollar card you believe has the chance for a 9-10, sub grades are essential IMO. There's a definite value increase on sold listings with sub grades. They will match the holder that is appropriate to the size of the card. You shouldn't have to worry about them choosing one that will damage it.
  12. A huge part of the reason we're in this mess is flippers on low value cards. Lots of them send in hundreds of cards in bulk orders to flip for $10-30 profit each. Time is money to them, and they're also likely the vocal minority here complaining that their bulk orders are taking so long.
  13. Interesting your Krogers have cards. I've never seen any at the stores near me.
  14. Believe they've stated in the past that there are plans for a POP report, but not until later in the year.
  15. It's going to be fun when they eventually release a population report. I'd expect you're going to have roughly 51 of 51 Donruss 88 cards in the registry. But you're correct cards are graded much differently than comics. It makes sense from the standpoint that a card is one small square of paper and comics are 8-15 and printed and cut using an entirely different process. I'd imagine to scrutinize so much print would be nearly impossible to be efficient at, and the expected error on print quality, registration, and defects is much more common.
  16. Video games also don't cannibalize slabs and materials they already need for TCG/Sports backlogs.
  17. Meijer is the best and most reliable store around me to get them local. They hold all cards to a specific time and date each week, strictly limit purchases, and they keep them under a glass case so the shelves can't be cleared out. I'd rather every store take the care that they do.
