2 of my subs shipped while they were in g/e/i - luckily I was home. Was a nice surprise...but was confused. About a week later the status' changed to shipped and I got the shipping acknowledgment that night. Seems I'm not the only one,
Charged on 01/10 for my 8/26 received submission that is in GEI...seeming like I might be in a similar boat.

my 6/25 bulk (219 cards no sub-grades) is in Quality Control/Finalized since 4 days ago. Yours should be there hopefully soon!
Edit- My 6/25 order just went from Quality Control/Finalized to Grading/Quality Control - and my 7/2 bulk order (63 no subs) just went from G/E/I to Grading/Quality Control...odd
Edit #3: 6/25 bulk order just shipped. Who said CGC doesn't give 10's?
Awesome!

Unfortunately they are separate companies, so I doubt that will ever be possible, sorry!

Understood; however we can ship to the same location with independent submission forms for each; correct?

I somewhat agree with this...and the illusive "surface" is similar. Check out this 1st ed rocket card...only 0.5 better centering than the orbeetle above? Makes no sense.

Here is a question for you all: How many of you have the willpower to not look at your grades until they arrive in your hands? I want to be surprised when they come in, but not sure if I will be able to. Any advice?
Looking at grades is like kissing your sister for your first kiss...yea you got kissed, but now you have to live with the reality of a fleeting moment that forever defines you.
On the other hand, waiting for the postman to show up, slicing through the packaging, and experiencing the genuine shock and awe of not one card hitting a 10 will elevate you to another level of consciousness.

New form is great, and I realize this "wish" is complex given the separation of the two, but it would be AWESOME if you could submit an CSG and CGC with the same form.

Thanks for the quick response. One more question before I get set to send this off. I paid $40 for shipping via USPS, but I don't see a shipping label, only a packing slip. I'm guessing I'm confused, but can you advise how I'm supposed to ship?
Mike mentioned it above, but you are paying the $40 for return shipping/insurance (if selected). I recommend shipping TO cgc via USPS as well due to the insurance rates being more reasonable...but in the end it's like everything else; personal preference.

I have a 50 card bulk submission received on the same day as yours. Let's see how close they stay together moving forward.
Good idea! Mine is a similar size as well (60 I think). So it'll be a good "apples to apples" comparison.

Just as a waypoint for others:
Bulk - 08/26/21 - Received
Currently in Scheduled for Grading.

Same occurred on a submission of mine, looks to be a known status but I sent in a clarity request to be sure.

@PaulS. Any insight on this? A few comments lately are similar situations (mine included). Thanks!
