  1. I paid $4,000 for them along with many other sets -- 1951 Bowman Spacemen; 1957 Topps Hit Stars; 1950 Hopalong Cassidy; 1953 Topps Who-Z-At; 1949 Pixie X-Ray Round Up; & 1960 Fleer Spins and Needles.

You're right about the ring binder. He probably had them stored in something else for decades. But he did store them right away. I bought his 1950s  Looney Tunes comics a year ago, which were all in great condition.

  2. Yup

The Detective 33 and Action 13 got sold immediately. I needed to show my wife a quick $10,000 profit and make her a believer. She’s a comic book lover now, too, especially after I gave her $5,000 and told her to have a great summer with the family. She’s right now out shopping for a week of camping.

In other news, I’ve been buying up a Bronze Age collection of 1,200 books a toy store guy had walk into his store. He’s looking up each book individually on Ebay, which is silly. I got him to sell me large lots at half of what he thinks they’re worth. The books are in great shape. Got a short box of early 70s Batman that’s a nice run.
