As a kid, I was under the impression that The Hulk was a baddie, a sort of anti-hero. I only like the first six issues tho...as a rule. This one is beautiful for the grade.

All I can say is I got very lucky on this one. It was a total steal!

This is the 2nd SA ATOM.There's some creasing along the spine edge. Apart from that, its a real nice book with WHITE PAGES. Incidentally the back cover is almost flawless...go figure

OK. This is the first of 5 slabs received today. It's quite nice, The 1st SILVER AGE DC Annual. I used to love to read these as a kid (mid 60s), cos the stories were so much better than what was in the books at that time. Not being aware then of Golden or Silver Ages, I did'nt realise that the stories were reprints of Golden Age stories, some of which were obviously pre-code. Well I was only seven! Apologies for the pics...best I could do.

Got a bunch of books in today from Ugly to Pretty. Will try & post 'em later. They include (All CGC) X-MEN 1 2.5 HULK 4 4.5 SUPERMAN ANN 1 2.5 SHOWCASE 35 3.0 ASM 50 7.5 This is the only Raw, and the Big Ugly of the bunch. But its complete & intact, readable & quite pleasant. And its The JOKER

And this came this morning! CGC 4.5 OW Pages "It's a Comic Book Jim but not as we know it...appears to be encased in a strange Alien Plastic Cocoon..."

This arrived this afternoon. I do love Joker. 1947. Pages are just slightly OW. Classic SPRANG Cover.

Just got this in today. Quite pretty. Recently posted a raw version of this...different books...similiar grade. Cover unmarked apart from a grease pencil 'P' above Robin's Cape ....some people!
