  1. Hi, all. I'm back from Costa Rica for a few weeks helping my son recover from surgery. Even after liquidating almost everything a few years, back, I still have at least 7 boxes of GA and SA goodies. I have held on to these in the off chance I got tired of the foreign life but it seems that's unlikely to happen, so I think it is time to let these go. These are titles I thought I might finish one day or that held a little something special to me. You may think they are a huge find, or you may think they are junk. Prices will generally be fair but you are welcome to make offers, just realize that I may wait a day or two before discussing them with you. It's the chance you take. Shipping will be at whatever the cost is. I prefer shipping Express Mail but can do UPS or FedEx if you prefer. Insurance is at your option. Payment is through Paypal though you can offer something else if it is an issue. I accept returns but I've only got five weeks before I leave the country again so please be sure you want it before you buy it. I've got a kudos thread somewhere in the bowels of the forums but I doubt I could find it. It basically says I am honest and easy to deal with, give fair prices, and have cool, high-grade books. Some of the books I have are Tom Mix Western (where I have a ton of Church copies), Space War from Charleton originating from the Covington, KY Collection that yielded the 9.4 JLA copy a decade pr so in the past, a number of Central Valley books including Large Feature Comics. Most of the books are highest graded copies and the Church and Central Valley books are usually stunningly white pagers. I no longer have a functioning full-size scanner so this will be a mix of old scan and photos. If I missed something required, please let me know and I will update this post.
  2. It’s my failing memory. Never mine but I had some very nice Lost Valley copies.
  3. That is such an exceptional copy. Wonderful to see it every time.
  4. I couldn’t stand by and watch an iconic series belittled! FWIW, I’m back in the states for 4-6 weeks and am going to take the time to sell the last of my GA books. It’s nice to see so many old boarders are still excited about fiction house titles. Under appreciated for too many years.
  5. Hello, all. It’s been a very long time since I sold anything on the boards. I spend precious little time in the US where the last of my books are but, as life would have it, I am back in the states for 4-6 weeks and thought it was a good time to pass along whatever I can. I have a couple of hundred GA books including my Tom Mix set and a few thousand moderns including Guardians of the Galaxy, Thunderbolts (get them before the movie comes out lol), Avengers, New Avengers, Secret Invasion, and too many more. I will likely start listing in Thursday or Friday. If you would like a taste of what is to come, pretty much everything in my registry set is available. I look forward to the usual board anarchy.
  6. The answer to my question is apparently CGC will go ahead and transfer a stolen book to the thief even if you decline the transfer.
  7. As some know, I had a significant burglary of comics a few years ago. I was fortunate to get most back but there was a box or two that never got returned. Over the last few months, someone has tried to register one of the stolen books repeatedly, and I have refused the transfer. My question is: Is there a way to completely block a book from being registered by another person so I don’t have to go through the weekly process of refusing the transfer? FWIW, this is a ‘morals’ thing for me. I’ve had others try to register a stolen book once but never multiple times. Seems like perpetuating the theft.
