  1. This issue was the first TTA I ever bought off the stand as a kid while vacationing at a NJ beach
  2. This is my favorite Maneely western cover This is my second favorite
  3. I think Joe drew himself and his wife seated at the top of the table. Ah, the beautiful and savage Lorna
  4. This one is a more unusual style for Joe, I would never guess this is his if it was not signed.
  5. Beautiful books. I believe the western genre was a labor of love for Joe. Just so many detailed covers and art.
  6. That is a small chip off of the lower left corner.
  7. I've had this copy for ages and decided to slab it. Thought it would grade higher. Put me slightly ahead of you, was not counting in all honesty. This one is one of my sweetheart books. I may have posted it before.
  8. Did anyone win any of the Shasta Lake pre-heroes offered by Heritage last November? One the most significant PH finds ever. They were pricey, no doubt, but just gorgeous copies with white to OW/W paper.
  9. Great pickup, Bob. Definitely a tough book in grade. Press it.
  10. Just some fantastic books being posted here from this historic and mind blowing collection. I only have a few copies, unfortunately.
  11. Never noticed this either. Wonder if one is scarcer than the other.
  12. Yeah, I remember when that one came up. Got too rich for me at the time. Do you have a nice #73? Another elusive issue in grade that I have not located.
  13. I think these covers are awesome and have collected them for many years.
  14. I have not been this thrilled in quite awhile about acquiring a PH book. They say about collecting is the thrill of the hunt. Well, for this issue it was more like frustration.
  15. Finally, I found a real nice copy of this issue after a 20+ year search. Still have my raw FN copy to read. One of the first PH I purchased off the stand as a youngin.
