  1. A beauty, one I am missing. Just picked up this one at the NYCC. Strictly graded by CBCS!
  2. Those are great issues!! Congrats.
  3. Beautiful display!! Many difficult issues in this group and in such terrific conditions. Do not have them all, only missing 6 of them.
  4. That is a sweet DS 12, love it! Here are a few Baker's that I had on-site graded at the Balticon over the weekend. I thought this one would come out a little higher. Very happy with this one!! Ecstatic over this one, to say the least.
  5. Whew, just a spectacular example of that issue. Almost hard to believe that the 3 copies mentioned survived in those conditions. If you ever held this book in your hands, you realize the cheap paper stock used. My copy graded out at 7.5, but that's because it fell about 4 feet off a shelf, even double mylared, and as a result, sustained an impact dentation on a lower corner. Probably would have made an 8.0/8.5, otherwise.
  6. Wow, sweet pick ups!! I thought it a stong showing for prehero books. I grabbed the ST # 85 CGC 8.0. An issue thats evaded me in decent grade.
  7. Great group of books posted. The ST 25 and 28 are personal favs. Another Harry Anderson favorite.
  8. Graded higher than I thought. How many times can we say that?
  9. Some fresh pick ups from WW Chicago. This was the last issue I needed for this title. Nicest colors I have seen on this issue. Finally got a nice copy of this tough issue. Now, all I need is a #105. Could not resist this one. Cool 1952 scifi pulp-like cover. Had this one slabbed on site.
  10. Do not forget to press it first.
  11. Looking at the scans, the 57 sort of looks nicer than the 54. But, with the books in hand, prior to slabbing, the 54 is tighter and crisper in feel and appearance.
  12. Thanks, They are graded strictly, too. No soft balls here. I will probably have more Bakers' graded at the Baltimore show next month.
  13. New pickups from WW Chicago this past week. Last YC that I needed, # 4. Picked up a lot more, great show, as usual.
  14. Fresh slabs from on site grading at WW Chicago. Very happy with these results.
  15. Fresh slabs from on site grading in Chicago.
  16. Yeah, the St 80 is an incredible issue. The #87 ranks almost right there, too.
