  1. This book needs a press. There is a 2mm color breaking spine tick above the bottom staple just above the bar code. Top staple shows light stress tears. Top right corner and back cover corner are bent, but not dogged ear. Two angled creases from “approved by . ..” stamp to outer cover. Otherwise the cover is glossy and white (needs cleaning). Back cover has two non color breaking spine ticks. The online comic shop sold this as “NM”. I think with a press, it might be a reach for a 9.0
  2. Bug Chew? My Superboy/LSH 239 is missing the upper right corner through 98% of pages from 1.75 mm progressing up to 3 mm. CGC Grading book states it could drop a book to an 8.5 but doesn’t offer measured examples. Any ideas if CGC would grade harshly for this? Thanks! I’m looking for a grade of 9.2/9.4 for this book, but won’t submit if the page damage is an issue. Thanks for your help!

Hello, I don’t understand how a membership works. It’s twelve months, but I won’t get my books back for two years because of CCS’s failure to do their job. How are my credits for grading applied if my existing orders are sitting at CCS for two or maybe three years? Do I pay $450 in membership fees over several years hoping that CCS will press my books in four or 5 years? You see you keep moving the bar. When I sent my books, it was only 186 days and now it’s 250+. Tomorrow it will be 300 or 400 days. So explain CCS’s failure and how I get my membership credit applied to grading and encapsulation services if my membership expires while I have outstanding orders sitting in CCS jail.
  4. I thought if CGC/CCS received a book, the date of turn around time is based on when it was received. My books were received 10/21/2021 with 188 days turn around time. It wouldn’t grow to 229. That would be for later dates books were received. Is that not correct? If not, can I recall my books? It’s been almost 180 days. I could get my books back, send them to a reputable presser with a 4 week turn around and submit again to CGC or CBCS as a fast track and get this all done before the extended 229 days.
