  1. Is 'what if featuring planet hulk' the first app of skaar. Why is it not listed on the cgc label if it is.
  2. I recently received a 9.8 grade on a comic with a grader note ' large stacking bend full right of back cover'. I am new to CGC and don't understand why you would do this. I want to sell this book and now wonder how this will affect the price? The other books that were graded (6 total) did not receive grader notes. This book Amazing Fantasy 15 1st Amadeus Cho has sold for over 1,500 dollars on EBAY at 9.8 no grader notes. How will this affect the price? Why put grader notes on a 9.8 and not the other books I submitted. Are grader notes optional. I would appreciate any feed back on this matter. Would it do any good to contact CGC about this.
  3. I received a 9.8 grade on a comic, but the grader notes indicate a large stacking bend on back cover. How did it get a 9.8
  4. Do grader notes affect the value or sale of a comic.
  5. I have 3 submissions scheduled for grading. Hope I will get them back this year. I will stop feeding the BEAST for awhile. Maybe if enough people did this CGC might listen. I doubt it.
  6. IT ONLY TAKES 9 MONTHS TO HAVE A BABY. COME ON CGC.
  7. I agree with you. It is poor customer service. You can make all the excuses you want, covid19 , high volume, they are the main player in town and know it. I sold a graded comic and the buyer complained about the sides of the case not being sealed. I looked at some other comics I had and they were the same. Me being a newbie I was worried. I called CGC customer service and was told I was probably storing them wrong. After some research I found out that in the early grading years of CGC they did not seal the sides of the case. Too bad someone working for your company did not know this. Customer service at this company is a joke. Higher more damn graders. Can you tell the difference between a 9.8 and a 9.9..I can't. If it says 9.6 than its a 9.6 period. I appreciate the concern about quality, but this isn't a meal you can taste, or a house you build, or a bridge you don't want to collapse. Its all subjective. Of course you don't want a 3.0 graded as a 9.6 but come on. IT ONLY TAKES 9 MONTHS TO HAVE A BABY,
  8. Thank you for the information. Did not know about the new billing procedures. If you are being charged for something now and will not receive it until 3 or 4 months matters to me.
  9. Hey comic collectors. This is my 3rd submission of comics to be graded. I have not had any problems until now. I have been charged on my credit card for my 3rd submission, but the comics have not been graded yet. Status is scheduled for grading. Has anyone had this happen to them. Called CGC, got transferred to accounting, no one answered. I have had no issues with paying CGC. Customer service said they can charge you anytime they want to.
  10. My first 2 submissions were graded and returned within weeks of being received. I was told it was because of a new pilot program they were testing. Well it worked. My next submission has been on scheduled for grading for 2 months. I know other customers have been waiting for a lot longer. Has the owner made so much money that he or she does not care anymore. I recently read that you have expanded your holding facility. Have you ever worked in a grocery store and noticed that back stock area is very small. That's because items only sell when they are on the shelf. Comics sitting in your storage facility are not making you any money. They are costing you money. Your main priority should be getting comics back to the customer ASAP. A re there any other grading companies besides CGC and PGX that are worth sending your comics to. Very frustrated customer. The owner should contact the customers and offer a solution..
  11. Put your customers first. If you have time to do signings, you should have time to grade books. This is fixable. You must know a lot of comic experts that can grade books. Invite them to Orlando for a grading extravaganza. GET IT DONE.
  12. You are correct. It is poor customer service. Do these people not know how to run a business? If your bottleneck is in grading, you do not expand your storage facility so you can store more books. Limit the number of books someone can send in until you get caught up. Have your graders work on weekends.(oh my god).
  13. how much does a color smear on cover during printing affect the grade of a comic.
  14. I wish there would be better communication from cgc. I purchased 2 small shipping kits from cgc in october. I submitted 5 comics. Received on 10/14, shipped 10/15. I submitted 6 more comics. Received 10/29, shipped 11/03. My latest submission was 6 comics received 12/10. All modern. Did not use a shipping kit. Status scheduled for grading as of 1/7. Why would you open submissions from 12/19 when you have not graded the ones from 12/10. Cannot get a response from cgc.
  15. MY FIRST TWO SUBMISSIONS FOR COMICS WERE SHIPPED IN KITS PURCHASED FROM CGC. THEY WERE GRADED AND SHIPPED WITHIN A WEEK. MY LATEST SUSMISSION WAS NOT SHIPPED IN A KIT FROM CGC AND HAS BEEN IN SCHEDULED FOR GRADING STATUS FOR 3 WEEKS. IS THERE A CONNECTION. IF YOU PUCHASE A KIT DO YOUR COMICS GET GRADED FASTER?
