  1. I just listed a few card lots. Please feel free to take a look. Thanks! 2. Just Marvel or DC as well? I have a 1960's Batman card I would love to send in.
  3. Tried it to get a few books in before the price change and absolutely hated the new submission form. It's horrible to look up titles. You have to jump through a lot of hoops to find out exactly when your comic was printed when previously you could type in the title and the most popular comics were listed first. Type in "X-Men" and you should get the OG "X-Men" everyone knows listed first. Now it's buried under a ton of other random stuff, literally impossible to scroll to unless you type in the exact publication date along with it. Sucks. I have a lot of books in the process of being graded, so I'll just hold off on submitting anything else for quite a while. Hopefully that gives CGC a chance to fix this thing or put it back to the perfectly fine form they had previously.
  4. Here's some close-ups of defects. There's a crease on the upper right, but I think it can be pressed out? The spine has some ticks and the back cover has a tiny folded corner.
  5. Hello. I just picked this up today, planning to send it off for pressing/grading soon. What do you think the grade of it is/will be? Thanks for the help!
  6. Thanks for the speedy replies! Sounds like I should keep them as-is, so that I will do!
  7. Hi. I recently purchased some coverless/damaged war-time golden age comics, most notably a Superman 13 and USA Comics 14. I have attached pictures. My question is this...should I get them slabbed by CGC or not? My goal is to sell both of them, but I don't have a lot of experience with golden age coverless stuff. Do people prefer to use these as reader/restoration copies or would they prefer them to be slabbed and not be damaged further? The Captain America is in pretty bad shape, with the first and last page unattached and damaged. Slabbing would keep it from being damaged more, I would think. The Supes 13 is missing at least the first page. Also got a coverless Smash Comics 45, but figured it wasn't high-value enough to make a difference one way or the other. Thanks in advance for your help.
  8. Thanks for the replies. I'm never sure what kind of effect things like those gouges have on the grade.
  9. Hi. I've just started submitting comics to CGC but haven't gotten any back yet so not sure how accurate my grading is. Planning to submit this lower grade comic and wondering what you all think it will grade as. I've been getting everything cleaned and pressed through CGC mainly because it's cheaper to ship if you don't split the order up, so it will be pressed. Thanks!
