  1. (I'm going to be a bit slower with pics. I torn my Achillies heal off the bone and had some surgery 10 days ago) SOLD Modern Monsters 1 F/VF to VF- Center poster detached otherwise VF+ (I will be showing pics of the poster on each issue) $20
  2. 1st batch will be high grade copies (VF to NM) from Modern Monsters 1-4 1966 (Placeholder)
  3. Payment Paypal only. 7 day return policy. (2 months if I missed something major like missing page restoration etc) $12 shipping unless you buy over $100 First gets it and trumps PM's Working on pics now....Grading and pricing is done
  4. Overall the series was decent. Great at times and very flawed at others. One thing I am still having a hard time with is, how shockingly cheap it looked. Mandalorian looks like it has twice the budget. And season 3 looks even bigger in scope. I wouldn't use the same production team. I usually like Deborah Chow. She had a great history with Star Wars and TV shows like Better Call Saul, but she also really dropped the ball. The final saber battle was filled with terrible shaky cam, quick jump cuts, and hard to follow top views. The rock tossing was a bit much as well. Although I loved the part...
  5. Agreed with all. I think elements from both will be used and there are so many scenes from Secret Wars 2015 that I could see on the screen. SW2015 is just such a better more interesting written story than the original 80's Secret Wars anyway. The original Secret Wars felt more on the level "Spider-Man eats Twinkies after catching the bank robbers" quality of story." It's really just bad. Secret Wars 2 is even worse. Although it did have that awesome Johnny Storm tie in where the kids set him self on fire. FF 285. (One of the best FF stories ever!!)
  6. Here's a Modern Monsters. One of the nicer grade older ones.
  7. Those Monster Manias are so tough because they have so much black on them. 1 has black front and back. Issue 3 is tough as well although mines not as nice as the 1 and 2
  8. A couple of my favorites from some of the magazines I picked up last weekend. Issue 1 is in the 9.2 range (Very glossy) and issue 2 is in the 9.4 range. Both very tough in grade.
  9. I bought about 80 horror magazines from the late 50s to late 60's last weekend. Range from good to VF/NM. The earliest is Famous Monsters of Filmland 2 I should be putting them up for sale this weekend if everything works out. Maybe add a few more fun things as well.
  10. Agreed. Maybe 8k is a bit high, but book is a truely tough Marvel book in grade and one of the few Marvel horror covers that looks as good as some of DCs.
  11. Solid episode. Really enjoyed seeming the flashback sequence. Story has been getting better as well. Leia is also growing a bit on me. On the downside, the sets also feel a bit cheap at times. The production value is shockingly sub par at times.
  12. It's a good one to own but the price is multiples of what it's worth and the condition is unremarkable. I've got quite a few high grade modules and I will likely grade a few. I've been hoping CGC would start this.
  13. Very slow paced. Not a very good lead actress. I'll watch one more in hope of something interesting. Didn't like her powers either. I would rate the first episode a D. That was mostly because of the cool graphics. Hopefully they have a good villain that raises the snail pacing. Worst MCU 1st episode.
  14. Great movie saw it with my kids and my parents. Both my parents were in tears. Not sure I have even seen my dad tear up on a movie like that. They haven't been to a theater in around 4 or 5 years. Afterwards he talked about my grandfather as a pilot in WW2. I'd give it an A/A-. Shockingly it was very emotional. I've seen the first one about 30+ times. It was I think the first VHS tape we bought. This movie was much much better
  15. Season 3 starts next year in Feb. Season 4 is already being worked on. Mandalorian will be around for a long time
  16. Episode 3 was a big improvement of the first two. I was also shocked a little by the violence. Big thumbs up.
  17. Looks like its going to continue right where Rebels left off, at the painting. Star Wars leaks reddit has some new footage of both Ashoka and Mandalorian Season 3 https://www.reddit.com/r/StarWarsLeaks/
  18. The teaser for season 3 was out but they pulled it. Seems to suggest as possible battle with Bo-Katan. Feb 2023
  19. I was hoping for more. Overall not terrible but certainly had some terrible scenes. First the bad. A lot of poor acting stands out like a sore thumb. Reva/ Moses Ingram seems way over the top, and often looks silly using her Force powers. Some of the other Inquisitors aren't great either. The scene with Leia running from her kidnappers is downright cringeworthy. That was Book of Boba Spy Kids bad. And Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers? Ugh. I had high hopes for Deborah Chow, but now I wish Faveau was running this show. Now the good. Ewan is great. Kumail Nanjiani was solid, although a bit odd at first. Loved the scene with the old Clone. Liked the Jawa. I liked the Grand Inquisitor. Overall a very mixed C range series. I hope it gets better. So far Mando is a far superior series.
  20. This one. $265 https://www.sideshow.com/collectibles/star-wars-luke-skywalker-snowspeeder-hot-toys-906711
  21. I pre ordered Ahsoka and the new chrome 2.0 Mandalorian, so I'm all in now. Also debating about the new Snowspeeder Luke.
