  1. I'm liking enough of the show to keep going. I also thought the side plot with the shapeshifter & Meagan the Stallion felt like (really) dumb filler. However,.... some of the "OMG Twerking?!!" comments seems like something straight out of Footloose land. Makes me laugh. Speaking on a more technical level, as someone who did a little CG animation myself, (I also did some graphic design for Disney, and other movie studios) there are some weird stuttering problems with her animation. Some of the key frames feel off and stiff at times. Her face isn't that bad. I can understand the debate, but female faces are softer and don't have as many detail marks. For example, Hulk has a 5oClock shadow to help ground him better. Thanos had some peach fuzz, large pours and extra line work. If you want to learn more, Corridor has a great YouTube discussion on She-Hulk.

  3. 11 was fantastic. Two great stories.
  4. I used to collect her comic during the John Byrne run, and I enjoyed her in FF. I thought this was going to be much worse, but it actually wasn't all that bad. A lot of the criticisms are overblown. She's a bit unlikable but seemed to fit into the learning and self growth. I'm going to give it a thumbs up. Not amazing, but (unlike Ms Marvel) I will likely watch this to the end.
  5. I think it peaked at episode 6 for certain. But there was still some good episodes after. Wasn't crazy about all of the changes from the comic after 6. Some annoying. But the show really shines when Sandman is on screen. The 2nd season should have some of the greatest stories.
  6. I know I was shocked that there wasn't an Evil thread. I'm in the middle of season 2
  7. You know one thing I was thinking about. The 6th episode was actually much stronger than the source material. The 2nd part of Ep 6 came from issue 13. In the COMIC, issue 13, they really don't tell you the date. But the comic came out IN 1989. So, in the comic series, he actually meets up with the guy ON TIME in 1989. Which is the date he is supposed to meet him in the TV series. But in the TV series he's STILL captured, so he can't meet up with him until years later. It's really a cool twist and makes the story vastly more heart felt. You really feel sorry for the guy .
  8. 6 episodes in so far. 5 was my least favorite and 6 might be my favorite. I wasn't crazy about changing Death either. It felt very out of place. However I was still able to greatly enjoy her performance and the fantastic story. We actually had a discussion over, "Would you want to live forever?" And I was like, yes. My son said no you would get bored quick.
  9. Here is a recent cool pick up. Don't see this too often.
  10. 1st 4 have been great! Hopefully things continue.
  11. Evil Paramount plus. It reminds me of X files but has a better long story arc. Great show with disturbing moments. Love it. Good humor also.
  12. Added a batch of new Skywalds. Big thanks to Richard and Bedrock City Comic Co.! Sorry for the crappy pics. The Scream 10 is a sweet 9.6 W Top 1 of 1. Scream 5 is a small upgrade. Still one of my favorite Skywald Covers, and was my first Skywald book many years ago. Never had a decent Scream 9 or a Scream 6.
  13. Speaking of Frazetta, thought some fans might be interested to see Frazetta's cover from Vampirella was ripped off by this movie poster art. I think this may be the 3rd rip off I've seen of the same artwork.
  14. A few other strong prices during that same auction. Witching hour 16 9.6 ($780.00) Phantom Stranger 12 9.6 ($552.00) Phantom Stranger 14 9.4 ($900.00)
  15. Some of these are not really that tough. Nor are they top census. Except of course the Sinister House 5 which is top 1 of 1. (And looked bone white) If fact all of these looked very white and great for the grade, which might have helped a bit. Top rare books in those runs would be Witching Hour 10, Phantom Stranger 10 and Secrets of the Sinister House 18 (Maybe the toughest DC horror book). Even before this auction I would guess the 9.8 WH 10 would hit 4K or more.
  16. I suspected the Secrets of the Sinister House was going to be aggressive (I had actually tossed a couple bids at that one) but my brain is still hurting on those others.
  17. Some of those prices were Bats@it crazy, with Phantom Stranger 6 leading the way.
  18. I've been tempted to jump into those Disney's as well. Very cool.
  19. Too much comedy. Starting to get annoyed. But will still watch.
  20. Russo Brothers aren't directing this. https://comicbook.com/marvel/news/comic-con-2022-russo-brothers-not-directing-avengers-secret-wars-kevin-feige-says/
  21. Wow someone was busy. Not too many deals but huge congrates!
