  1. So I assume no one has noticed this before at least before? Thanks. Some in to CGC first submission.
  2. I thought in comics potentially if different then what was intended that make them stand out. Like a double cover or cover on a wrong comic. I am not new to comic collecting I sent in my first 16 and most came back 9.4 =( and higher and I have 3500. I was asking the pros if they knew about this one. Thanks.
  3. Sorry, it is totally different and please look at the photos. I am probably chasing a ghost meaning nothing but they are 100% different.
  4. Hi. I wondered if peeps can tell me if they know of a Gold cover for this comic. I see only the Redish one. Thanks!
  5. Sorry, if I stated it that way. I am asking the mass of people have they came across the comic like that. I am sure they have and its nothing but like feed back.
  6. Not sure buddy. Why I am asking people like us that collect comics. If its an error wouldn't CGC call it an error?
  7. Hey Lazyboy. Their has to be 2 versions of August 1st Venom Funeral Pyre cause I own both. A Redish one and a Golden one. The Golden one has just a little of red top corner but if you move the comic any direction there is no red in it. Possibly you are thinking different run of the comic?
  8. Thanks I found it. When Venom #1 Funeral Pyre came out on August of 1993 it had 2 variations of a foil cover. One I see all over Ebay (attached photo) and the second one I could not locate it has a Gold cover. I finally did locate the Gold one as well but as mentioned above no one was selling it on Ebay at this time. Thanks!
  9. I understand and thank you. I am started a new post to see if someone might know the Venom #1 Funeral Pyre comic.
  10. Trying to understand why I can not find both holographic on Ebay. Thanks!
  11. I may have to start a different chat just wondering if someone knows the Venom comic. I do appreciate your feed back.
  12. Different topic do you know anything about Venom Funeral Pyre #1 ?
  13. Actually does anyone know about Venom Funeral Pre #1. Just have a basic question if so thanks.
  14. I know this off subject but might you know anything about Venom Funeral Pyre #1?
  15. I really appreciate your feed back. You own a pressing machine as well? Honestly I am in a position that I want to do the right thing. If it takes a few months or whatever then so be it. I am not trying to get rich but if I sell my comics and I think they "might" be able to get a little better then great. Of course just the ones that hold a nice value. As usual thanks. Currently processing books received/paid 04/01/2021—04/07/2021 Looks like 6 months behind.
  16. Thank you for the feed back. Lmao of your comment as well. I think I will take some really good photos in the next day or two as well. I do not know Joey as of yet but I did send him a message. Thanks for the response.
  17. Thanks Fisionbomb. I was asking about pressing the 2 Hulk #340 that I received 9.6 on. The copies are clean I do see a small finger bend if I take out a magnifying glass and a tiny little crease on the spine. The market for a 9.6 is $500-$600 and a 9.8 is $1500 etc. I was just wondering if it made sense to press and possible get a 9.8 since it "should" remove handling defects. I totally agree with you on the 9.8 graded comics.
  18. Thanks. I did send Joey a message asking how it all works, costs, opinion, etc.
  19. I have 2 Hulk #340 that came back as 9.6 CGC graded. When I look close at the cover I can see very minor finger bends (minor) and very very very slight on the spine. What is people's opinion about getting the books pressed and hoping for a 9.8. Honestly the books look clean as heck. I kn0w I can get $500-$600 for 9.6 but 9.8 goes for $1400-?. Thanks for reading.
