  1. Just go an email back from CGC. Essentially, the delay is due to the recent NYCC/Baltimore Comic Con and also the extreme amount of submissions they've received for the Todd McFarlane signing event. I was told that as long as my package is in their warehouse, it will eventually make it's way into the submission tracker. I was able to confirm that my package was in their warehouse by using the "Confirm Package Delivery" tool in the My Submissions page. Just entered in the tracking number from the delivery service I used. They couldn't give an ETA, but just explained that it's just a submission volume problem, and that things are moving a bit slowly. Hope this puts a few people at ease.
  2. UPS delivered by books to CGC on the 9th, but CGC has yet to checkin my submission. I've experienced CGC checking in my books after the delivery "deadline" before, but it's the 18th now and I'm getting a bit worried that they misplaced my submission. Glad I'm not alone here, but I'm starting to get a bit worried. Hopefully they just have a backlog to get through.
  3. I missed the deadline and reached out to CGC to see what they could do. They stated that "you can still submit the book for grading, but please be advised it will receive our Green Qualified label, and not our Yellow Signature Series Designated Label" As someone new to submitting to CGC I waited far to long to find the time to learn how to submit properly, and missed the boat. I'm now concerned that the value of my raw copy is going to nose dive, but am also concerned that the green label won't be worth getting as well. Looking for the communities advice on this regarding what I should do with it.
  4. I appriciate the response, and that's a great way to skip the wait for the books I just need graded for now.
  5. Hey there, Sorry if this is a dumb quesiton, but I'm new to submitting to CGC, and I couldn't find a direct answer this this particular question (apologies if it's answered somewhere). I was wondering if it's okay to package muliple submissions, that have different submission types in a single shipping package? For example, I want to get 2 comics graded, and 3 other comics signed and graded (private signing as part of the in house signing signature series). In order to do this I need to create and checkout these submissions seperately since I can't add a Private Signing comic in the same checkout basket of my other comics that I just want to get graded. Furthermore, I want different artists to sign my comics, so would also need to create a seperate submission for each artist. I know for Private signings I'll also need to initial the outside of my package (with the artist names) so that when CGC recieves the box they now how to process the package properly. If I can package them all together in one shipment, is there anything I should do to pepare the package properly (besides getting window bags for the comics I want signed)? Thanks for the help!
