There are no UK variants any more, Marvels stopped mid-80s and other publishers around same time with the introduction/popularization of Direct editions. You will only find American comics “off the stand” in specialised shops or on-line.
There are UK compilations reprinting US material which you can find in news agents but you wouldn’t mistake these for originals.
Google the town you are moving to and comic shop - if nothing where you are moving to there are on-line dealers who can provide you with whatever you want.
Moving right next door to Cambridge. If there isn't one, I may open one.

Cant answer your questions as I'm in the American South West but how will you be shipping your books back, and how many will you be shipping?
Hardly any in comparison. Maybe three long boxes and 70 - 100 slabs. All my big hitters, Hulk 1, CCA 1, AF 15 etc I got rid of after a massive bout of depression in 2009. Just getting back into it now.

Although nothing like it was in early nineties new comics are easy to get, most towns of any size will have a specialised shop selling comics who can order in whatever you want. Alternatively dealers on line and plenty of eBay sellers.
Pre-covid comic cons were common however, despite being called comic cons, very few comic dealers to be seen. The only all comic con I am aware of is in London every few months.
Back issues - specialist dealers on line and eBay. High grade silver age is difficult to find in UK but if you’re patient you have a chance.Golden age - hardly worth looking in UK especially if you’re fussy on grade.
Thanks, that makes sense. With new comics, off the stand in the UK, are they 'US' comics, or are they a UK variant?

So it would appear Im moving back to the UK from Canada. Quick question. What's the collector scene like in the UK now? I brought 10,000 comics with me when I moved here in 2005, but don't remember many shows, and it was nigh on impossible to buy American comics without shipping them from the US. Thanks.

What are the "obvious reasons" you can't go to the police?
sorry, that was for people who follow on twitter. i am a cop, currently suing my service over corruption cover up issues. (and seriously, think they’ll give a mess). just asking guys and girls on the board to keep an eye out.

Hey, dont know whether this is the right thread but im sure someone will let me know if it isnt. Someone entered one of the outbuildings on my farm in the past 8 weeks (i know, ive just not had cause to go in there) and took a load of stuff. Tools etc. All can be replaced. However those bastards took my Sideshow Collectables Silver Surfer statue
I was storing in there also. It has slight damage so ill know its mine. This is up in Canada, near Toronto. I put a tweet out today, but if anyone sees one come up for sale let me know. Heres the tweet -

If it's a CGC 8.5 grade with the "former" rusty staples, would this be Danny Kramer's old copy before he left the hobby?
I remember Danny really stormed onto the scene back in 1994 or thereabouts and was like a sponge in asking questions and soaking up as much knowledge as he could, at the same time as scooping up as many nice quality books as he could. Like many other collectors with deep pockets like that, he didn't stay around for the long term and was pretty much done with chasing down books after a few years.
Meant a Zurzolo sale. But he put it on Facebook shortly after I posted this.

Is this one of Vinny’s books?

So.... I'm only through the newest TPB and
I know Michone says she he has the hots for Rick's old neighbor, but I keep getting the feeling, especially after they admitted to each other they were going crazy that Michone and Rick are going to hook up eventually
That had crossed my mind as well.
Okay I'm spoiler tagging this because it's kinda gross but I don't see it being too far outside the realm of possibility.
I've been wondering if there will ever be a person that has sex with zombies. The mayor of Newbury was pretty sick and I imagine it's only a matter of time before he gets trumped by someone even sicker (DAVIDSON!...?) so what could possibly be sicker than a necrophiliac who fancies driving it home to zombies?
Don't knock it til you've tried it! (thumbs u

Guess it's time for mutantkeys and I to bust out our sketches.
sorry, i love Adlards work, but Morroe's...

Just FYI my raw Hulk 181 just sold on ebay for less than a 9.6 Walking Dead # 1.

He's doing it again.
don't hold your breath....and im wondering if its someone we've already met???
Actually, I'm dying to find out who this guy is when #71 comes out this week!

I love Charlie Adlards work, although I am a great fan of Moores to (thumbs u
does Charlie do commisions off his website?

I have never read a comic where I couldn't believe what just happen and had to go back and read it again
That is why WD is the best comic out!!
Maybe best ever
+1
easily. i can't think of a read ive enjoyed more. (thumbs u

easy then...your offered a piece of More WD art and Adlard WD art...which do you choose?
depends. if it's a choice of covers, moore all the way. if it's interiors, of course i'll take early issues first, which just happen to be moore. but i'd rather have issue #19 interiors than almost any moore interiors.
is that the one where Michonne arrives/ Dexter gets shot in the head?

Rathburn
Gav and Gary love Charlie since they're all "neighbours" over there. Did I spell that right?
ha, i don't think they're quite neighbours...i think Gav first met Adlard when he served him with a restraining order...
and for the record, ive owned Adlard WD OA and loved it....still prefer Moore though.
