  1. I struggle quite a bit with the mid/lower grades .. like everything below 7.0 is a VG ish grade :)

Anyway, I found some lower grade silver books I truly forgot about. Probably because of the lower grades. If anyone has an opinion on a grade it would be very helpful. The inside pages are rather nice but the cover wear, creases, and tear on the back makes this one of those mystery grades for me.

  2.

As a kid, I couldn't afford or dream to buy X-Men #1 ... i mean, $500.00 for a NM book, who had that kind of cash :)

Anyway, some years later I picked up X-Men #1 ... but it was coverless. Definitely worn, tan pages, but no tears. Structurally sound and all pages intact, secured, and readable.

Any thoughts on how to sell this?

I recently saw some auctions where the pages of key books like this were graded and sold independently. I had no idea that was possible.

  3. Anyone have some knowledge on how much, if any, a manufacturer crooked binding impacts a books grade?

More specifically, you can see about 1/8" of the back cover on the front cover ... so it wasn't folded perfectly and its a little crooked. A little more visible at the bottom than the top.

  5. I have (40) comics to ship/submit for grading. Using a CGC large shipping box.

    (30) of the books are for grading

    (10) of the books are for pressing, then submitting

Can I mix services and ship them all in the one large CGC shipping box? 3 inner sleeves are grading, 1 inner sleeve is for pressing then grading.

Would appreciate any help as I'd like to ship them out ASAP.

    Thank you,

    Rich
