  1. Remember, multiple analysts (and bloggers) kept quoting WB was missing out on 80 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS by not having Roku and Amazon. So let's see those 80M show up now. 80 MILLION.
  2. I was totally okay with how it was functioning this morning. Now the navigation is very clunky.
  3. Did the forum upgrade break some formatting structure, as it looks tough to navigate right now.
  4. Spider-Man sells. But as a legacy brand of course they want to keep that going. Which is why it went up As part of his Civil War introduction and then leveled back off (though still exceeding $1B/annually). Oh yeah. Disney/MCU is really going to show those Sony folks a thing or two. Why, they are talking about shutting down the entire Spider-Man merchandising line to spite them. And that is why the other article noted how Disney realizes with his appearances in the MCU it brings spikes in sales to keep that merchandising going. You can't really be this wrapped up in proving the MCU doesn't care about Spider-Man going forward. Can you?
  5. List of highest-grossing media franchises Oh yeah. Disney/MCU is really going to show those Sony folks a thing or two. Why, they are talking about shutting down the entire Spider-Man merchandising line to spite them.
  6. Uh-huh. You just didn't research a topic before blowing that trumpet out your four points of contact. Check the 2017 article above, MCU Expert.
  7. Spider-Man Merchandise Sales Spiked Following Marvel Cinematic Universe Announcement But hey, no worriers. Disney going to focus on other characters because Sony owns the film rights. Someone told me this on a comic book forum so it must be true.
  8. He really is such a fanatic it gets weird sometimes how someone can be one-sided biased.
  9. You need to take off those MCU shades that are so dark you can't even see reason when it stares you in the face. Even in 2014 Spider-Man branded merchandise was bringing in over $1.2 Billion USD in sales. Do you actually think Disney would not want that to continue to grow since it owns 100% rights to such merchandising?
  10. Turns out they are going to make a few more and now Dwayne Johnson and Tyrese have made up.
  11. Pedro Pascal is the strength of the film but would have benefitted from more Wonder Woman. Overall: 3.5/5
  12. Originally gave the first film 3.5/5 due to third act. She felt the story was too long, making it slightly messy. Overall: 3.0/5
  13. Although the MCU doesn't need to be so fixated on one character like it was for quite a while with Iron Man (Tony creating technology that was attributed to other characters in the source material even), it would be a mistake to dismiss one of the most recognized characters worldwide. Feige worked extremely hard to bring one of his favorite characters into this world. Why would he then treat him as a bit character going forward?
  14. There is such a variance between RT and Metacritic many times. But especially when you see Metacritic-included reviewers like that Stephany Z. from the Times who was one of those that noted Joker was reinforcing the Aurora shootings like The Dark Knight inspired.
