  1. I will be checking on Monday to see if it would be the 9.4 or 9.8 value. Here is what the FAQ says regarding this: FAQs What happens when I submit a book for Holder Review? If your book is determined to be correctly graded, it will be reholdered with a new certification number and returned to you at no charge. If your book is determined to be incorrectly graded, CGC will retain your book as evidence, and you will be compensated for the current fair market value of the book in accordance with the CGC Guarantee.
  2. This is covered in our CGC Guarantee that is linked in red above. I read it, and I think it will answer your question.
  3. Here is the current list of FAQ's we have available. FAQs What happens when I submit a book for Holder Review? If your book is determined to be correctly graded, it will be reholdered with a new certification number and returned to you at no charge. If your book is determined to be incorrectly graded, CGC will retain your book as evidence, and you will be compensated for the current fair market value of the book in accordance with the CGC Guarantee. How did CGC create the list of impacted books? Due to the ongoing investigation, at this time we cannot share how we determined which books were impacted. What changes are being made because of this incident? CGC is always evaluating ways to make our processes better and our holders more secure. Every reholder submission is now being reviewed by a Senior Grader, and we have made other significant improvements to our processes as a result of this incident. We will continue to take appropriate steps to help ensure that this type of incident does not happen again. We will make an announcement if we have any new information to share about updates to our processes or holders. However, please understand that some updates will not be made public because they are proprietary and relate to security. Will the list of impacted certification numbers be retained? We will retain the list of impacted certification numbers on this page of our website. As impacted books are returned, the certification number will be struck through, indicating it is no longer valid and the book has been given a new certification number. Certification numbers that are no longer valid will not be searchable in the Verify CGC Certification database, consistent with our normal reholder process and to ensure that there is no duplication in the CGC Census population report.

  7. While we do allow criticism, we do not allow promoting our competitors. The video was removed. No warnings through the point system were issued this time.
  8. Hi Yes, this can be reholdered. Provided the book was not damaged, it will maintain the 9.8 grade.
  9. You could use the gallery section. The tab is near the top of the page, and visible in the screenshot below.
  10. I am sorry this has happened to you. When you send it back as a ME, please send me the tracking number, packing slip number and a copy of your entire post above. Write on the packing slip that it needs to be pressed again seems it has light creasing, regraded and placed in a yellow label holder. I will try to get someone to double check on this through the process.
  11. I am sorry, but there is no update at this time.
  12. Hi It may have been a postal employee, as we don't pick up packages from USPS. We do not collect the mail from the post office.  It is all delivered directly to our office.  Due to a high volume of packages coming to our office, it can take time for the post office to scan and deliver all of the packages to us here at our location.  You will see that status change once it has been delivered to our office. You can also check the tracking any time on our website to see if it has been delivered.  It can take some time for the USPS to update the status on their end, so we have seen instances where the package was delivered but it took a couple of days for the status on the USPS tracking to change.
  13. Currently, I'm not aware of any restrictions regarding the postings of competitors cards.
  14. You didn't do anything wrong. Here is some info from CS. According to the tracking, it just was delivered to the Sarasota post office today. Here is some wording we use when customers question the "available for pickup" status they see on the tracking. 15. Thanks. I am going to send this info to a senior customer service rep. Please keep me advised of any change in tracking. Once we receive your package, it may take a few weeks before it gets logged into our system. Once it does, you will be able to track it's journey through the grading and encapsulation process.
  16. Hi All submissions are delivered directly to our facility. We do not go to the PO and pick up packages. I expect that tracking will show differently by tomorrow. What is the tracking number and packing slip number?
  17. I think so. To be sure, you could post the question in the Ask CGC section, and a CS rep will know for sure.
  18. I will notify the team that this book is still listed on Comiclink. Regarding any future submissions that forum members note as possibly being suspicious, please bring it to our attention. We will look into it. It has been our policy prior to this thread to check into anything that appears suspicious.
  19. There's a certain posting style. It's unmistakeable. He should be careful that the mod doesn't find out who. Only 1 id per person is allowed. If 2 are discovered, they may both have to disappear.
  20. I have split this post into a different topic and edited the title, as it was originally posted in someone else's stolen books thread.
