CCG and CGC Comics Statement on Holder Tampering Incident The Certified Collectibles Group (CCG), which includes Certified Guaranty Company (CGC), is aware of an incident involving an individual tampering with CGC Comics holders. Based on our initial review, we believe that the incident affects a few hundred comic books. CCG exists to protect the collecting community, and in the last 36 years we have certified more than 85 million collectibles, each one backed by a comprehensive guarantee. The trust that we have built with our community sometimes makes us a target of bad actors and, despite our vigilance, this individual tampered with some of our holders. If you purchased one of the books that this individual tampered with, we will ensure that you are appropriately compensated for losses arising from any failures in our services. We expect to share a list of books that we believe are impacted as soon as possible. We have also retained a leading private investigative service and outside counsel to conduct a comprehensive review of this incident and our processes, and to help ensure that this individual is held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. We have already made significant improvements to our processes as a result of this incident, and we will continue to take appropriate steps to help ensure that this type of incident does not happen again. We expect to share more information when we have it. I told you that the point stays, and I will be reopening the thread. My decision to reopen the thread did not have anything to do with your request. It was inevitable that an AI discussion would need to be allowed going forward. However, I do not take kindly when people open up a discussion, knowing that it had previously been closed a short while back. The same OP none the less. Why am I posting this? It is due to the fact that I have seen multiple posts of yours saying that you have been working with me and that is why this or that happened. (not your exact words but means the same) No forum members are working with me in any way in making decisions on this forum. People do make requests and I do listen and take them into consideration. However, I take the time and weigh everything, and make a decision based on my 12 years of experience in moderating this forum. There is no need to reply publicly or privately, as I will not be replying. Also, I do not want to see a discussion revolving around this post.

If it goes like the last one I locked, I will be vary generous with points to any and all accounts that I feel are a violation of the terms of use. Everyone is supposed to be 18 years or older here.   17. I have cleaned up this thread. Going forward, posting off topic/derailing posts may result in a permanent ban from the thread, ban from forum, or posting restrictions forum wide. A few years ago, we raised the age limit for members to 18. Lets start acting more like adults. This goes for all of the threads. I am seeing posting patterns from multiple people that I do not like.
