Yeah those stains are killing me. I'm probably not gonna slab this one. -

PGM My Fantastic Four #112

I'm going through the boxes and pulling out a shortbox worth of keys to take with me but that's it. There's waaay too many boxes here for me to take back with me and I don't have the room anyway. If anything I should be bringing books back here... comics are literally taking over my apartment. -
PGM my Wolverine 1988 issue 1
skillzdadirecta replied to Funkoboss's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
8.0 maybe 8.5 with a press? Is that a scuff mark on Wolvie's boot on the back cover? -
7.0 maybe a 7.5 after a press... most GOOD sellers are conservative with their grade estimates or at least SHOULD be. It encourages repeat business. I dont' think I ever had that issue or read it. One of the few ASM's from that era I haven't read.

Hulk #340 Newstand.

This is good to know. I have this same book and I'm gonna submit it soon. Definitely going to submit it with a pre-screen so it doesn't comeback in a disappointing grade. I agree that the O.P.'s book is at LEAST a 9.4 as is and with a Clean and press it could go higher. -

When You Guys Submit To CGC
skillzdadirecta replied to skillzdadirecta's topic in Newbie Comic Collecting Questions
Thanks for the response. i've heard some folks say that they have better luck when submitting books from the same decade and was wondering if anyone else had that experience. I wasn't talking about the different tiers... I should have been clearer. -
Hguys still making my way through my boxes at my parents house and came across this one. Read the HELL out of this back in the day as you can see. This book came out before I was born so I must've bought it at a comic store when I was a kid. Loved fights between these two and hopefully we'll see them slug it out on the big screen at some point. What do you think this would grade at? 1.5? 2.0? What say you? I promise I have better looking books than this!

I've submitted to CGC three times and about to send in my fourth submission. I typically submit at least five books per order and right now I've tried to submit books from the same decade at least. Haven't sent anything older than 2000 in yet by I have some books from the 90's, 80's, 70's and even a couple from the 60's that I want to submit. Is it wise to keep the submissions for each order to be around the same time period or does it not matter? What say you?
