  1. Why don't tell me, what is that exactly? Not everyone is that naive. I'm not the one that should apologize. And why should I apologize? Because I didn't believe in the validity of your "Once-In-A-Lifetime-Discovery" or jump on your bandwagon? Think before you start posting "fake discoveries" next time. We're community here, we lookout for each other. That's how it works. I just read through the FaceBook posts' about the Hulk #1 scam, again. According to the FaceBook scam thread, you also purchased the fake CGC 6.0 Amazing Spider-Man #1, along with the fake Captain America comics #1 cover. According to the FaceBook scam thread, this is your screen shot, right? What's the situation with that? Did you know it was fake? It must've been a lot of money for a book like that. I hope you didn't lose too much money on it. Was that book also thrown in like the Captain America Comics #1 cover because it was worthless? Why didn't you tell the CGC community about the fake CGC 6.0 Amazing Spider-Man #1? Didn't hear a peep about that. Give us some information about the slab. Was it a resealed old CGC slab? Was it a non-CGC 3rd party made slab? How about the label? Also, did you contact CGC's outside counsel, Mark Zaid? He posted all of his contact information on that Facebook scam thread. He wanted to know more information about the fake CGC slabs. There's still a thread in Comics General about this very scam. How about you post all your findings there? Like I said, we're community here, help us out here...... Come on man, what's with that????

  6. There are more books from the Steve Ditko collection? Last September (2021,) Heritage auctioned off a bunch of CGC graded Spider-Man comics from the Steve Ditko collection. https://www.ha.com/c/search-results.zx?N=790+231&Nty=1&Ntt="steve+ditko+collection"&ic10=ArchiveTab-071515
  7. Saw it on Instagram. Here's the short version. In July of 2021, a CBCS exclusive Signature Series Dealer/Facilitator had 7 submissions. The submission to CBCS consisted of a combination of non signed and witnessed signed books to be graded. Apparently, all of the books have now been lost. This is what the Dealer/Facilitator was told by CBCS' president after getting the runaround from CBCS' customer service for months. The CBCS president also mentioned that the reason the books were "missing" or "lost," was that they had sent the books out-of-state to an employee's home, where the employee could logged the books into CBCS' system. Then the employee would reshipped the books back to CBCS' Dallas office for grading. They did this because they were behind with their TAT. There were 367 books in total that were lost, and these were the Dealer/Facilitator's customer's books. I guess that's why Steve B. bailed on them.....

  18. 1990, Great Eastern Conventions by Fred Greenberg. It was at the New York Penta Hotel across from MSG. Which is now called the Hotel Pennsylvania. He use to run ads in Marvel Comics which is how I found out. Todd Mcfarlane was the guest of honor. This was during his Amazing Spider-Man run. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Eastern_Conventions
  19. So my question about pandering in the old Godzilla movies was correct. You're right about that the old Godzilla movie approach is no longer common practice. I'm not saying it to you particularly, just replying to your reply. But the subject of pandering to Chinese audiences seems to get bring up every so often on these boards when discussing movies. But the same old Godzilla movie traits get no mentioned. I've actually seen praised for old Americanized/pandering Godzilla movies on these boards.
  20. That's not pandering, that's catering to the their market. Just looked at the old Godzilla and Gamera movies from the 50's and 60's with American actors. Most of the original Japanese versions of those films didn't have American actors. Some of those scenes with American actors didn't even exist in the original Japanese versions. No Raymond Burr in the original Japanese Godzilla movie. Same thing with King Kong vs. Godzilla. Majority of the scenes with American actors in King Kong vs. Godzilla were not in the original Japanese version of the film. In the American version of Godzilla vs. The Thing (Mothra). There is a scene where the US Navy (played by American actors, of course) was bombing Godzilla on a beach. That scene is completely missing in the original Japanese version. Were they blatantly pandering to American audiences then?
  21. You should put this book in the the right sales forum. This is the Gold/Silver/Bronze sales forum. Put it in the Copper/Modern sales forum. You might get more eyes on it and actually sell it.
